Anyush Power is over at No. 24/1 D. S. Lane, specifically in Block T-15. It’s a bit of a maze back here, but once you find us, it’s easy. We deal with power stuff, batteries, and maybe some wiring help. The shop is full of tools and spare parts. D. S. Lane is a narrow place. You can’t really bring a big car through easily. We spend our days fixing things or selling components to people who live nearby. It’s dusty work sometimes. We have some old shelves that hold the heavier equipment. There’s always a smell of solder or old metal in the air. We don’t have a receptionist. If the bell rings, one of us just wipes our hands and goes to see who it is. We’ve been in this block for quite a while. People know us as the guys who know about electricity. We aren't a big factory, just a small unit. We listen to the radio while we work. It keeps the day moving. If the power goes out in the neighborhood, we are usually the first ones people call to ask what happened. We just give them a straight answer. It’s a practical life. We do the work, pack up, and go home. Nothing complicated about it. We keep a few spare bulbs and wires in the front for emergencies. It's just a regular local shop for regular people.
