Annapurna Varaity Store

We are located out on Amta Road in the Dasnagar area of Howrah. If you know this part of the city, you know how busy the roads can get with trucks and rickshaws going back and forth. Annapurna Varaity Store is right there in the middle of it all. We have been here at the 711105 address for quite a bit now. The store has all sorts of different things, hence why we call it a variety store. It’s not one of those big supermarkets you see in the malls. It is more of a local spot where you can grab what you need quickly without a fuss. The shelves are usually crowded with snacks, household bits, and small items that people ask for every day. We don't really do much advertising because most people just see us when they are walking or driving by on the main road. The morning times are usually the busiest when everyone is heading out to work. In the evenings, it slows down a little, but there is always someone popping in. It's a simple brick and mortar shop. We deal with the heat and the rain just like everyone else on Amta Road. Being in Howrah, things move fast, but we try to keep up as best as we can. It’s just a plain, honest shop for the neighborhood folks to get their groceries and stuff.
