We have been operating Anand Sales Agency down here on Stand Road for quite some time. Howrah is a place where there is always noise and something happening, and being at number 23 puts us right in the thick of it. We aren't a big flashy company with a lobby or anything like that. Our space is more of a functional office where we handle the logistics of getting goods from one place to another. There’s usually a stack of invoices on the desk and someone on the phone talking to a supplier. We don't really do the whole corporate image thing because our customers don't care about that. They just want to know where their order is and when it will arrive. It can be a bit chaotic sometimes, especially when the traffic on Stand Road gets backed up, but we’re used to it. We have a small crew here, mostly people who have been with us for years. We know the shortcuts and we know how to get things done in this city. It’s honest work, and it keeps us on our toes. We don’t spend time writing mission statements or anything like that. We just show up, drink our chai, and make sure the deliveries are moving. If you come by, you’ll see we’re just regular people working hard to keep the business going. That's the way it's always been for us here in Howrah, just keeping the sales moving steadily on Stand Road.
