Alloy & Alloy Products is situated in Shanpur, Subtala, right near the post office in Dasnagar. It is an older industrial area, and our building fits right in with the rest of the brick buildings on the street. We specialize in making different kinds of alloy mixtures. It involves a lot of weighing things out carefully and heating them up in the back. The air always has a bit of a sharp metallic tang to it here, but you get used to it after a few days. We have a small crew of workers, mostly people who live nearby in Shanpur or other parts of Dasnagar. We do not have much in the way of a lobby or a receptionist; usually, if someone visits, they just find us in the back near the mixers. It is noisy and can get a bit messy with the materials, but that is the nature of working with alloys. We are not into those big corporate speeches or mission statements. We just focus on getting the metal mix right so the product turns out okay for the customer. Sometimes the old machinery breaks down and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing it ourselves with whatever tools are handy. That is just part of a normal day for us. We have been here quite a while, and the daily routine hasn't changed much over the years. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about the news or the weather.
