Shibpur is a busy place, and Kazidanga Lane is no exception. Our office is at number 58, right on the ground floor, which makes it easier for people to just walk in. It's the All India Helping Care Foundation, but we mostly just focus on what’s right in front of us. The lane gets narrow, so parking is always a bit of a headache. We spend a lot of our time just chatting with folks from the area. There’s always someone who needs a hand with something, maybe a medical form or just some advice on where to go for help. It’s not a polished corporate office. We have mismatched chairs and a fan that clicks a bit too loud in the summer. But it works for us. We’ve been here in Shibpur for a bit now, and people know the name. We don't spend money on big ads or anything. Most people find us through word of mouth. Someone tells a neighbor, and then they show up at the door. We try to keep things straightforward. No complicated systems, just people talking to people. It gets loud outside with the local traffic, but we’re used to it. The staff here are mostly locals who live a short walk away. We just handle the daily needs as they come up, trying to make things a little less difficult for the families who live around Kazidanga Lane and the surrounding streets.
