Agragami Foundation

Our place is in Howrah. It’s on Nabanaritala 1st Bye Lane. If you know the area, you know the streets are a bit narrow and crowded. The address is 35/1/1 and we’ve been in this building for a long time. It’s not much to look at, just a workspace where we get things done. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to handle public relations. It's just a few of us here. We spend our days dealing with the tasks at hand. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out with a hand fan. That’s just part of life in Howrah. We don't try to look important or official. Most of the people who come here are just locals from the neighborhood. We know the tea stall guy around the corner and usually get our snacks from him. We focus on the work itself rather than how we look. There’s always a pile of stuff to get through on the table. We don’t use big words to describe what we do. It’s just daily effort. The building is old, but it works for us. We like being tucked away in the lane because it’s a bit quieter than the main road. We’ve got a routine now. Morning starts with cleaning the floor, then we dive into whatever is on the list. No one wears a suit here. We just wear what’s comfortable and get on with it every single day.
