We are located out in Hooghly, specifically in the Serampore area. The address is a bit of a mouthful, LP-62/3/1/1 in Mallickpara. If you are coming from the main road, you have to wind through some of the smaller lanes to find us at 5/A Bara Bagan Lane. It is a quiet part of town compared to the city center. Our building is tucked away behind some greenery and it feels more like a home than a workplace sometimes. The lane is narrow, so big cars have a hard time, but it’s perfect for a walk. We spend a lot of time in the back room where it stays cooler during the heat. There’s a specific smell of the rainy season here that you don’t get in the more paved parts of the city. We have a few wooden tables and some cupboards filled with files. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it doesn't bother us much. We just focus on what is in front of us. Serampore has its own rhythm, and we are just another small part of it. It is a long way from the Kolkata rush, and we like that just fine. It is a peaceful place to get through our daily tasks without too many distractions.
