A J Cast Alloys Pvt. Ltd. is situated in the Balitkuri area, specifically near Shibtola. If you know the neighborhood, it is mostly industrial and can get quite dusty on the dry days. Our foundry setup isn't anything like the high-tech plants you see on television. It is a practical place where we melt metal and pour it into molds. The furnaces get very hot, especially in the summer months when the humidity is high. We have been doing this for years, and the walls are stained with the soot of many pours. There are always stacks of sand and wooden patterns lying around the floor. It looks a bit messy to an outsider, but we know where everything is. The workers here have been with us for a long time; they understand how the metal flows and when it is ready. We don't use much fancy software for the casting process. Instead, we rely on what we have seen work before. Sometimes a casting doesn't come out right and we have to break it down and start over. That is just part of the business. Most people find us through word of mouth in the local metal market. We don't bother with much advertising because we are usually busy enough with the orders we have.
