Vgn Chennai

Our place is Vgn Chennai, but we are actually situated out in Mekalachinnampalli, which is under the Krishnagiri district. It is a bit of a drive from the main city, but it is a nice area with a lot of green and some rocky hills in the distance. We are right near the post office there. The office is a basic building that fits in with the local houses around it. We do not have any big glass windows or shiny elevators. It is mostly just rooms with desks and chairs and the sound of the ceiling fans clicking away. Most of the staff comes from the local villages nearby. We keep a simple routine every day. We arrive in the morning, check the mail that comes through the PO, and get to work on whatever is on the desk. The air is a bit fresher here than it is in the middle of Chennai, which is a nice change. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow, so we have to be patient with the computers. We do not really worry about looking professional for some big boss. We just focus on getting the day’s work done so we can go home. It is a practical environment where everyone knows what their job is. There is a small tea stall nearby where we all meet up in the afternoon to take a break from the heat.
