Tsi Furniture Company

It’s usually pretty loud around Kinattinkara House in Kondayoor most mornings. That is where we set up Tsi Furniture Company. We’ve been here in Pallur Desamangalam for a good while now, just working with wood and trying to get orders finished on time. The workshop floor is always covered in sawdust. Some days are busier than others, especially when a few big orders come in at once. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It is mostly just the sound of saws and people moving heavy planks around. People usually find us by word of mouth in the local area. Sometimes neighbors stop by to see what we are making. We keep things pretty simple. There is no big office staff here. If you come by, you’ll probably find us out back near the wood stacks. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we keep going until the light starts to fade. The address is Kondayoor Po, and it's easy to spot if you know the Pallur area. We handle all sorts of furniture requests, mostly stuff people need for their homes. We don't do much advertising. There's just a lot of measuring, cutting, and sanding going on every day. Sometimes the delivery truck gets stuck in the narrow lane, but we manage. It’s a straightforward way to make a living, and we’ve gotten used to the smell of fresh timber and glue over the years. We just stay focused on the work at hand and get things done.
