Our place, Tenneco Rc India Pvt Ltd, is located inside the Sipcot Industrial Complex in Krishnagiri. We are at plot 122, which is quite near Tvs Organics, so that’s usually the landmark we tell people when they get lost. Being in a big industrial complex like this means there is always something going on. Trucks coming in, people moving pallets, and the sound of manufacturing in the distance. We do automotive parts here. It is a big operation compared to some of the smaller shops nearby. We have a lot of machinery and the floors are always being cleaned to keep things organized. The heat in Krishnagiri can get pretty intense during the summer months, so the shed gets warm. We’ve got a good group of people working the shifts. Most of us have been here for years. It’s not the kind of place with a lot of office politics; we just focus on getting the production numbers where they need to be. We handle various suspension components and things like that. It’s technical work but we’ve done it so long it feels natural. If you’re driving through the Sipcot area, you can’t miss us. It’s just a standard industrial building, gray and functional. We don't have a big reception area or anything, just a desk where you sign in. It’s a solid place to work and we take pride in the actual stuff we make.
