Sri Saran Stationery

We are over at 5/3 Alasanatham Road in Venktesh Nagar. It’s a nice enough area, mostly residential with some shops mixed in. Sri Saran Stationery is where we spend most of our days. It smells like paper and ink in here, which is something you get used to pretty quickly. We have all the usual stuff like pens, notebooks, and folders. Parents come in a lot with their kids when school is starting up, so those are our busiest times. The rest of the year it’s a bit quieter. We just keep the shelves stocked and help people find what they need for their offices or school projects. The shop is on a corner, so it gets a good bit of light during the day. We don’t have any big corporate goals. We just want to make sure the neighborhood has a place to get their supplies without having to drive across town. Sometimes the delivery truck blocks the narrow road for a minute, but the neighbors are patient. It’s a simple life. We talk to the people who come in, maybe discuss the weather or local news. We’ve been at this location for a while now and we know the rhythms of the street. It’s a small operation, just a couple of us working here to keep things moving. We don't have fancy displays, just boxes and shelves. It’s enough for what we do day by day.
