Sree Kumar Tanga Maligai

Sree Kumar Tanga Maligai is located inside the SCM Spinning Mill Compound. It is at S.F.No:38 near the N.G.Palayam Pirivu in Thekkalur, Avinashi. It is a bit of an unusual spot since we are inside the mill grounds, but people find their way here eventually. The area is quite industrial with a lot of big trucks moving in and out all day long. We have been here for a while, and the people working at the mill all know us by now. Our space is pretty straightforward and simple. We have the counters and the items we sell, and not much else. There is a small wooden bench for people to sit while they talk to us. We do not spend money on big decorations or fancy lights. The sun comes in through the high windows in the afternoon and makes the whole place quite bright. We usually have the radio playing some local news or music in the background to keep us company. It is a long way from the main town center, so it is usually quieter here than on the main road. We do our own bookkeeping and handle the cleaning ourselves. It is just a small family-run thing, really. We do not have a big corporate structure or anything. If there is a problem, you just talk to me or my brother. We have lived in Avinashi our whole lives.
