Techpark Power Solutions

Working out of the New Sidco Industrial Estate is quite a different experience than being in a regular shop. Techpark Power Solutions is located at number eight, and we are right near the main Sidco Industrial Estate area. It is a place built for work. You hear the sounds of machinery and trucks all day long. We focus on power solutions, which mostly means we are surrounded by batteries, inverters, and backup systems. It gets pretty hot in the warehouse, especially when the sun is hitting the roof, so we keep the doors open most of the time. The floors are concrete and usually have some scuff marks from moving heavy equipment around. We aren't here to look pretty; we are here to make sure people have power when the grid goes down. A lot of our day is spent testing units or talking to technicians who come by to pick up parts for their projects. The neighborhood is full of other small factories and workshops, so there is a real sense of being in the middle of where things are actually made and fixed. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. Usually, people find us because they know the industrial estate well or they were told to look for the power guys near the Sidco entrance. It is a practical environment. We have a small desk for the billing and a lot of shelf space for the stock. It works for us and keeps the business moving forward every day.
