Nathan Ortho Hospital

Nathan Ortho Hospital is located at number 114 on the Salem Main Road in Krishnagiri. We are right across the street from the Nathiyamman Bankers, so we are easy to spot if you are looking for the bank. Being an orthopedic place, we see a lot of people coming in with crutches or casts. It’s a very practical building with no unnecessary frills. We have a front desk that is always piled with papers and notebooks. The waiting area has several rows of metal chairs and a couple of large fans to deal with the Krishnagiri heat. Salem Main Road is a major route, so the sound of buses and lorries is something we hear all day and night. We have a small room in the back where we keep the X-ray machine and the developer. It feels like a very busy workshop sometimes, with all the plaster and the bandages. The staff is used to the long hours and the physical work of helping people move around. We don't have a lot of extra space, so everything has a specific place where it belongs. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the shopkeepers on this stretch of the road. It’s a straightforward place where we just focus on getting people back on their feet. There are no fancy mission statements here, just daily work. We get the casts on and the files sorted.
