Macks Surface Treatment Pvt. Ltd. is located in the A-40 block of the Sipcot Industrial Area. It’s a big warehouse where we do all sorts of surface treatments on different metal parts. The air stays pretty hot inside because of the large tanks and the drying ovens we use. We’ve been operating out of this industrial zone for several years now. It is a good spot for us since we are surrounded by other factories that need our services. Most of the time, the floor is covered in metal parts waiting to be dipped or sprayed. Our crew has been with us since we first opened. They know the chemicals and the timing better than anyone else here. We do a lot of cleaning, coating, and finishing to make sure the metal doesn't rust or wear down too fast. It isn't a clean job, but we try to keep the shop as tidy as we can. There is always a forklift moving somewhere, so you have to watch where you're walking. We deal with large orders mostly, and they come in on big trucks throughout the day. The paperwork gets a bit much sometimes, especially with all the safety regulations in an industrial area like this one. We just focus on the process itself. If a part isn't treated right, it is no good to the client. So we spend plenty of time checking the final finishes under the bright lights. It is honest, hard work and we’ve gotten used to the noise and the smell of the shop.
