Kc Blue Metals

You will find us down at 17 Ganapathi Nagar, right along Thally Road. This place is mostly about the blue metals and stones used for construction. Because of what we handle, there is a lot of heavy machinery noise and the constant sound of gravel being poured. The yard is usually white with stone dust, and it gets into everything—our hair, our shoes, and even the tea cups in the break room. We have a couple of small buildings on the site for the administrative side of things, but most of the action happens outside in the open air. The sun can be pretty brutal out here on Thally Road, so we wear hats and try to stay in the shade when we aren't directing the trucks. It is a very physical place to work. We don't have fancy brochures; we just have piles of different sized stones and a scale to weigh the loads. The gate stays open most of the day because there is always a tractor or a lorry coming in or heading out. It’s a simple operation, really. We keep track of the loads in a big handwritten ledger because it’s easier than messing with a computer when your hands are covered in dust. It’s just how we have always done it here in Ganapathi Nagar. We just keep our heads down and keep the stone moving for whoever needs it for their project.
