Grasp-Py Pet Industries

Grasp-Py Pet Industries is located out in Ravuthappli Village. It’s a bit of a drive to get to Kamandoddi Post, but we like it out here away from the heavy city traffic. Our place is at No. 56/2B1. We work with PET materials, making different items that people need for their shops or homes. It started out small and we just kept at it. The village is quiet most of the time, except when the trucks come in to pick up orders. We have a few people from the local area working with us. It’s not a high-tech corporate setup. We have our machines, some storage space, and a lot of bags and preforms sitting around. Sometimes the power goes out, which is just part of living in the village, so we just wait it out or find something else to do. We try to keep things organized but when you are dealing with a lot of plastic, it gets crowded fast. Most of our days are spent checking the quality of what comes off the line and making sure the packing is done right. We don't spend money on fancy signs or advertising. Word usually gets around the local market if you do decent work. It's a simple life out here in Ravuthappli. We wake up, head to the unit, and stay until the sun starts to go down. It gets dusty and hot in the afternoons, but that’s just how it is.
