F & B Captain,Nalapad Residency,Ooty

This is a bit of a different setup here at No: 4/453 in Mel Somarpet. We are located in Ganapathy Nagar, which is over in Krishnagiri. Even though the name mentions Ooty, our actual base for this part of the work is here in Tamilnadu. We deal with food and beverage service, mostly managing things for the residency. It is a lot of running around, checking on tables, and making sure the kitchen is moving along. The building we are in is a standard local structure. It does not have those polished marble floors you might expect from a big hotel chain. It feels more like a home that turned into a business. We have some old wooden chairs and tables that have seen a lot of use over the years. We stay busy with the local crowd and people passing through the area. Sometimes the orders get backed up and it gets a little chaotic in the back, but we always manage to sort it out. We do not use any fancy management software; we mostly just write things down and talk to each other to stay on track. It is a practical way of working. We have got a small crew of people who have been with us for a long time. We know the regulars and what they like to eat. It is not glamorous, but it is real life. We just keep the kitchen going.
