Vk Traders

Vk Traders is located on the second floor of building number 18 in Barathiya Nagar. To get to us, you have to walk up a flight of stairs, which keeps us moving throughout the day. We chose this spot because it’s a bit away from the direct noise of the street, though you can still hear the motorbikes passing by. Our office is a simple room where we handle our trading business. There are a few desks, some filing cabinets that don't always close right, and a computer that we use for all our orders. We trade in various items depending on what’s in demand and what our suppliers can provide. A lot of our time is spent on the phone, talking to people and trying to coordinate deliveries. It’s not a glamorous job, and the office can get pretty cluttered with samples and paperwork when things are busy. We have a small corner where we make tea, which we probably drink too much of during the day. Most of our neighbors are other small businesses, so it’s a friendly enough atmosphere in the building. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us managing the day-to-day tasks. We try to stay organized, but on Mondays, the desk usually ends up covered in sticky notes and lists. It’s just a regular local business trying to make a living by connecting buyers with the goods they need. We’ve been here a while and it suits us fine.
