Gb Commercial Traders is situated at B. O No. 38, tucked away right behind the Venkateshwara Theater on Bangalore Road. It’s a bit of a unique spot because you have to drive past the theater entrance to find us. Bangalore Road is always packed with traffic, but once you turn off into our area, it gets a little bit quieter. We hear the muffled sounds of whatever movie is playing in the theater during the day, which can be quite funny sometimes. Our office and storage space is just a simple building that we have rented for years. It’s got enough room for our inventory and a small area where we sit to do the accounts. We aren't big on decorations, so the walls are mostly bare except for a calendar and some notes we’ve pinned up. Most of our work involves trading and moving goods, so there is always a lot of lifting and shifting boxes around. We’ve got a small team here and we all know our roles pretty well. It’s not a high-pressure corporate environment, just a place where we work hard and try to stay organized. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when a big shipment arrives, but we manage to get through it. It’s a practical, local business that has been around the area for a good while.
