This office is on the first floor of Silver Avenue right near the Sky Mark Avenue building in Vadodara. If you know the area we are just behind the Ram Vatika Society out by the Panigate side. It’s a busy spot and finding parking can be a real headache sometimes especially in the mornings. Inside it’s mostly desks and computers and filing cabinets filled with years of records. We have large windows that look out over the street so we can see the traffic and the people walking by. The air conditioner is usually running because the Gujarat heat is no joke once the sun gets high. We spend our days on the phone talking to different sites or typing up orders for the minerals. There’s a small kitchenette where we make tea and keep our tiffins for lunch. It’s a bit quieter here than at the actual processing plants but there is still plenty of work to keep us busy until late afternoon. We often have people coming in for meetings or to drop off documents so the front door gets a lot of use. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to wait it out or use the back-up generator if it’s working. It’s a standard office environment with a lot of paperwork and people trying to stay on top of their tasks. We are used to the rhythm of the city and the noise from the Panigate area.
