Domlur Layout is a funny place because it feels like everyone is always in a hurry. We are right on the service road at number 4. If you miss the turn, you have to go all the way around, which is a real pain with the traffic these days. Our spot at L&T Infotech is pretty straightforward. It’s an office building like any other, but we try to keep it comfortable since we spend so much time here. The service road can get quite dusty, so we are always cleaning the windows. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and computers. We have a small corner where we keep the kettle and some biscuits for when the afternoon slump hits. The internet goes out sometimes when there is a big storm, and then we all just sit around talking until it comes back on. It’s actually quite nice when that happens. Most of the staff live nearby, so they walk or bike in. The ones who drive are always complaining about the parking. It’s a bit of a squeeze. We’ve been here at number 4 for a while now and we know all the delivery guys by name. It’s not a fancy corporate setup with glass walls and stuff. It’s just where we work. We do our tasks, talk about the weekend, and head home when the sun starts going down.
