Nids Computer Education

Nids Computer Education is tucked away in Kotfathui on the Phagwara Road. It is a small town area, so things move a bit slower here compared to the big cities. We are quite close to the Canara Bank and the telephone exchange, so that makes it easier for people coming from the surrounding villages to find us. We have a couple of rooms with computers set up for the students. It’s a basic setup because we focus more on just getting the work done. The street outside can get a bit dusty when the buses go by on Phagwara Road, but inside it is mostly just the sound of typing. We see a lot of young people coming in after school or college to pick up some computer skills. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just wait it out or use the backup if it's working that day. The building isn't brand new, but it's sturdy and serves us well. We usually open up in the morning and stay until the sun starts to set. It's just a local place where people come to learn something useful. We know most of our students by their first names since it’s a tight-knit community here in Hoshiarpur. There isn't much fuss or frills about how we run things, just simple daily teaching and helping people understand how to use a keyboard and mouse.
