Neeraj Ohri & Co.

Neeraj Ohri & Co. is based at House 462 in the Nai Abadi area of Hoshiarpur. It’s a residential neighborhood, which makes it a bit more personal than a big office block. We’ve set up shop in section B/4. It’s a modest place where we get our work done every day. There’s no big glass front or anything like that. It’s just a house where we handle accounting and tax matters for people in the area. Being in Nai Abadi, we see a lot of the same faces walking by every day. We’ve been here long enough that we feel like part of the furniture in this neighborhood. The office is full of files and books because that’s the nature of what we do. It’s not always perfectly tidy, but we know where everything is kept. We don’t use any complicated jargon when we talk to people who come by. We just explain what needs to be done with their finances in plain English. Hoshiarpur is home, and we like the pace of life here. Some days are quiet, while others have people coming in and out all morning. We don’t mind either way. We just keep our focus on the ledgers and the forms. There are no fancy mission statements on the walls. We just come in, do the work, and go home like everyone else in the city. It’s a practical business for practical people, and it suits us just fine.
