Morfi Harbans Mannequins (regd)

We make mannequins here in Mohalla Bhallian. It’s a registered business under Morfi Harbans, but to most people around here, we are just the shop at house number 46. This is in Hariana, and we’ve been working out of this spot for quite a while now. The work involves a lot of shaping and fixing things up so they look right for store displays. It can get a bit dusty with all the materials we use, but that’s part of the job. We have different sizes and shapes scattered around the workspace. It looks a bit strange to some people when they walk in and see all these figures standing around in various stages of completion. We don't have a fancy office, just the workshop where the actual work happens. My hands are usually busy with some tool or another. We take orders from local shops and sometimes from further away. Shipping these things is always a bit of a puzzle because they are bulky and hard to box up. We just wrap them up well and hope the trucks are careful on the bumpy roads around the village. It’s a steady kind of life here. We start early while it’s cool and try to finish before it gets too dark. It’s just practical work that needs a bit of a steady hand. People know where to find us.
