Sandhu Bee Company

Started out in Mohkamgarh with just a few hives. Bees are hard work, especially when the weather turns. We spend most of our days out in the fields checking on things. It's quiet out here but the work never really stops. My father taught me how to handle the bees without getting stung too much, though it still happens. We just collect the honey and sell it. People come by the village to pick it up. Sometimes the crop is good, sometimes it isn't. That is just how nature goes. We don't have a big office or anything. It's just us and the boxes. The sun gets hot in the afternoon, so we try to get most things done early. It’s not fancy, just honest work with the insects. We have different types depending on what flowers are blooming nearby. You can usually find one of us near the sheds. We've been here a long time now. People know the Sandhu name around these parts. We don't do much advertising, word of mouth usually does the job. It's a simple life but it keeps us busy. The village is peaceful enough. Most days are about cleaning frames or making sure the queens are healthy. Sometimes we have to move the hives around. It’s heavy lifting but someone has to do it. We just keep going, year after year, hoping for good rain and plenty of flowers for our bees to find.
