Little Leaders Play School

Little Leaders Play School is tucked away in the Red Cross Building right in Bazaar Vakilan. Being in the heart of Hoshiarpur means it’s always lively around here. The bazaar is full of shops and people, so there’s a lot of energy even before we open the doors in the morning. We took over a space in this building because it’s central for parents who work or live near the market. It’s a play school, so most of our day is spent dealing with very young children who are just starting out. It can get pretty noisy inside when everyone is playing, but that’s just how it goes with little ones. We don’t have fancy playgrounds, but we make use of the space we have. The rooms are filled with toys and drawings on the walls. Most of us who work here have kids of our own, so we know what it’s like. We aren't trying to be the most modern school in the world, just a reliable place where parents can leave their toddlers for a few hours. Some days are a bit chaotic when someone starts crying or spills their lunch, but we get through it. We’ve become a familiar sight in the 146001 zip code area. People know us by name, and we know theirs. It’s just a small, local spot for the neighborhood kids to grow up a bit. We don't have a huge staff, just a few of us who keep an eye on things and make sure the kids get their naps and snacks. It is simple but it works for our small community.
