Mittal Plywood & Haedwaer Agencies is located right by Khanpuri Gate. We are so close to the gate that we just tell people we’re near Khanpuri Gate and they find us easily. It’s an old part of the city with a lot of history. Our shop fits right in with the surrounding buildings. We deal with plywood and hardware, so the place is usually stacked high with wood and boxes of screws and hinges. It’s not a polished showroom. It’s a place where we move stock and help customers find what they need for their building projects. We don’t have a big corporate structure. It’s just us running the agency. We’ve been here for years, and we’ve seen the area change, but the gate stays the same. The name of the shop has a little typo in it sometimes, but we just go with it. It’s part of the charm, I guess. We aren’t interested in fancy marketing or big promises. We just have what we have in stock. People come to us because they know we’ve been here at Khanpuri Gate forever. It’s a straightforward way to do business. If you need some plywood or hardware, just head toward the gate and look for us. We’ll be there in the middle of all the stacks of wood, probably moving things around. It's dusty work but we like it here.
