Kanwar Hospital

If you know Phagwara Road, you know it’s never really silent. Kanwar Hospital is situated right near the Railway Station Road, which means there’s a constant sound of horns and trains in the distance. It’s a busy location, and we often have people coming in straight from the station because they need help right away. The building itself is near Shivam Hospital, so there’s always a lot of activity in the area. We have a lot of people passing through, not just locals but travelers too. The waiting room is usually full of people leaning against the walls or sitting on the floor when the benches are taken. It’s a practical place, built to handle the crowds that come with being so close to a major transport hub. The floors are hard tile, and they click when people walk fast down the corridors. We have a small desk near the entrance where we try to keep track of everyone, but it gets chaotic when several people arrive at once. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, and the ceiling fans hum quite loudly, but nobody seems to mind much. We’re just here to do the work that needs doing. When the trains whistle, you have to raise your voice a bit to be heard. It’s a fast-paced environment, but we’ve learned to manage the noise and the constant flow of people without getting too flustered by the daily rush.
