Dhiman Rishu Architect

If you head over to Model Town and look for 34-L, you’ll find where we do our work. Dhiman Rishu Architect isn't some massive firm with hundreds of employees. It's just a handful of us here drawing up plans and looking at site maps. We spend a lot of time at our desks with pencils and rulers, or sometimes staring at the computer screen until our eyes get tired. It’s not always glamorous work. A lot of it is just checking measurements and making sure everything fits where it’s supposed to. We see a lot of people from the neighborhood coming in with ideas for their homes or shops. Sometimes their ideas are great, and sometimes we have to explain why a certain wall can't be moved. We’ve been in this spot for a bit now, and the office has that lived-in feel. There are blueprints rolled up in corners and samples of tiles sitting on the shelves gathering a little dust. We don't have a receptionist in a suit. If you knock, one of us will probably just look up from our work and wave you in. It’s a practical space for practical people. We just focus on getting the drawings right so the builders have what they need to get started. Model Town is a busy area, but once you step inside 34-L, it’s mostly just the sound of clicking mice and some quiet talk about floor plans and local building codes.
