Our office is tucked away in Shalimar Nagar at House Number 284. We are on Street Number 6, just off Jodhamal Road. It’s a residential area, so it’s much quieter than the main roads. Sushma handles the architectural work here. It is a comfortable space, mostly just a room in the house that we’ve turned into a proper office. There are shelves full of old files and folders from projects we’ve worked on over the years. You can see the garden from the window, which is nice when you need a break from looking at drawings. Most of our clients are people from the neighborhood or friends of friends. They just walk up the street and knock on the door. It doesn't feel like a corporate office at all. We have a big table where we spread out the plans and a few chairs for visitors. Jodhamal Road is the main way in, and once you turn onto Street 6, it’s easy to find us. We spend a lot of time on the computer these days, but we still like to do some sketches by hand. There is always a pot of tea on the stove. It is a very relaxed way to work, but we still take the drawings very seriously. Shalimar Nagar is a good place to be, and we like that our work helps people build their homes right here in the community.
