Bhandari Iron Traders

We are right at the Tanda Road Chowk, which is a pretty easy place to find if you know the area. Bhandari Iron Traders is basically a family-run kind of setup. My father started it, and now we just keep it going as best as we can. The yard is usually full of iron rods and different pieces of scrap or new stock depending on the week. It’s not a very tidy place, to be honest. Iron is heavy and messy to move around, so we just stack it where there is space. We don't really have a sales team or anything like that. If you need something, you just come to the counter and talk to one of us. We use a lot of handwritten notes for our daily tallies. Sometimes the traffic at the chowk makes it hard for the bigger trucks to turn in, so we have to go out and help direct them. It’s just part of the daily routine here. We have some regular customers who have been buying from us for years. They know we aren't going to give them a fancy presentation. We just tell them what we have in stock and what the price is today. It changes quite a bit based on the market. It’s a simple way to run a business, but it works for us and the people around here who just need iron.
