Badhan Sandeep Architect

Our little office is out in Nihalpur village, which is part of Hoshiarpur. Most people know the area because of the Convent School in Dasuya that is quite close by. Sandeep spends a lot of time here, usually looking over site plans or talking on the phone with contractors. Being out in the village means it is a bit quieter than being in the middle of a big city, which is nice when you need to focus on drawing lines. The building isn't very large, but it fits what we need. There is a small area for people to sit if they come by to talk about their house plans. We get a lot of dust from the road outside, so we are always wiping down the desks. It feels very local here. We know the people living around Nihalpur and they know what we do. Sometimes we have to drive out to the building sites, so the office stays locked up for a few hours. The walk to the school is short, and you can hear the kids playing during their breaks. It is a simple life of designing and checking on how the brickwork is going. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. It’s just a plain room where the work of an architect gets done day after day. It might not look like much, but we have everything we need right here to get the work finished.
