Aluminium Palace

Aluminium Palace is located right by Khanpuri Gate, directly opposite where Jai Golden Transport operates. We spend our days working with aluminium sections, making frames for windows and doors. The shop is always filled with the sound of the cutting machine, which is quite loud and makes it hard to hear the phone sometimes. There are pieces of metal and scraps of glass scattered around the work area, though we try to sweep up every evening. It’s a very practical kind of place. We don’t have a fancy showroom with lights; we just have some samples leaning against the wall for people to look at. Customers usually come in with their own measurements written on a piece of cardboard or a scrap of paper. We do our best to cut everything to the right size, but sometimes we have to trim things down again to get it perfect. The heat can be a bit much in the summer because of all the metal around us, but we have a couple of big fans that help a little. I usually have a few guys working with me, and we’ve been at this location for a good while. We see a lot of trucks moving in and out of the transport yard across the street. It’s just a straightforward business where we work with our hands and try to get the orders done by the time people need them for their buildings.
