About Sai Photocopy – Safety & Security in Hoshangabad
Being right near the railway station in Ward 14 means there is never a quiet moment. We set up Sai Photocopy here in Mana Budni because people always need something copied last minute before they catch a train. You can hear the whistles and the announcements from the station all day long while the machines are running. It’s a small space, mostly just enough room for the copier and a counter where people stack their papers. Sometimes students from the nearby areas come in with thick books and we spend an hour just flipping pages. The air gets a bit warm from the machines, especially in the afternoons. We’ve had the same old chairs for years now. I usually open up early because that’s when the first rush of travelers starts coming through. It isn't a complicated business, just making sure the toner doesn't run out and the paper doesn't jam too often. My cousin helps out when it gets really packed. We know most of the regulars who work around the station or live in the ward. If you’re walking toward the tracks, you’ll probably see us. It’s just a regular local shop doing regular work. We don't do anything too fancy here, just black and white copies mostly. The floor needs a sweep pretty often because of all the dust from the road outside and the wind coming off the tracks.
