Manish Hospital

Manish Hospital is located in Sadar Bazar, right near the church. This is an old part of the city, and the streets around here are full of history and a lot of noise. The church bells ring at certain times of the day, and you can hear them clearly from inside the hospital rooms. Our building is an older structure that has been added onto over time, so the hallways are a bit narrow and turn in unexpected ways. We have a small courtyard in the middle where some of the staff goes to sit when it’s not too hot outside. The rooms for the patients are simple, with metal beds and small bedside lockers for their things. We don't have fancy decorations, just the necessities. The front entrance of the hospital is always a bit crowded with people coming in from Sadar Bazar. We have a big desk in the lobby where someone is always sitting to help people find the right room. The floors are made of old stone that stays cool even in the middle of summer. We go through a lot of tea here, especially in the mornings when the shifts change over. The staff knows the neighborhood well, and we often recognize the people coming through the doors. It’s a busy, functional place that fits right into the life of the bazaar and the area around the church. We’ve been part of this street for a long time.
