Agarwal Steel Industry

We’ve been here in Sadar Betul for quite a while now. If you walk down the main road, you’ll find Agarwal Steel Industry easily enough. It’s mostly just us working with metal all day. Some days are busier than others, especially when the big trucks come in to unload. The shop floor stays pretty dusty, but that’s just how it goes with steel. People from around the area stop by when they need something specific cut or shaped. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. There is just a small desk where we keep the ledgers and a couple of chairs for whoever is waiting. Most of the time, you’ll find us out back with the machines. It gets loud, so we usually have to shout to hear each other. The weather in Betul can be tough, either too hot or raining, but the work doesn’t stop. We just keep moving the inventory and making sure everything is where it should be. It is a simple setup, really. My uncle started this place years ago, and we’ve stayed in the same spot since then. Nothing much has changed except for maybe a new coat of paint on the gate every few years. We know the neighbors and they know us. That’s the way we like it here. Just a local business doing what we know how to do with iron and steel.
