Accord Cotton Llp

Accord Cotton is over in Itarsi, specifically in Nyas Colony at MIG-07. Itarsi is a major junction, so there’s always a lot of movement around here with the trains and trucks. We deal with raw cotton and the trade that goes with it. The office is in a residential area, which makes it feel a bit more relaxed than being in the middle of a heavy industrial zone. We have a lot of paperwork to handle because of the cotton shipments. The heat in Hoshangabad district can be really something in the summer, so we have a couple of old fans that hum all day long. We aren’t a huge company with hundreds of employees. It’s a small group of us making sure the cotton gets to where it needs to go. Sometimes the trucks are late or the weather ruins a batch, and we just have to figure it out. That’s just the nature of the cotton business. We’ve been in Nyas Colony for a good while, and the neighbors are used to the occasional truck parked nearby. We don’t have a mission statement or anything like that. We just come in, do the work, and go home. It’s a practical way to live. We’ve built up some good relationships with the farmers and the buyers over the years. It’s about trust and showing up every morning to see what the day brings.
