Vinayaka Trading Company

Sjm Layout is a decent spot. We are quite close to Sjm College, so there is always some noise from the students walking past. At Vinayaka Trading Company, we deal with a lot of different things coming in and out. Most mornings start with checking what arrived on the truck and where it needs to go next. The office is small, just enough space for a couple of chairs and a desk that’s usually covered in receipts. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls. It’s mostly just boxes stacked up against the corners. Trading can be a bit of a headache when the deliveries are late or the stock doesn’t match the list. We spend a lot of time on the phone, talking to drivers or people looking for certain items. The fan on the ceiling wobbles a bit, but it helps when the afternoon heat kicks in. Sometimes we have to move stuff around just to make a path to the back door. It isn't the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is. People from the layout know us, and we know them. It’s a small community around here. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the bills get paid. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do day in and day out near the college. We aren't trying to impress anyone, just doing the work that keeps the business going.
