About Sveco Green Age Solid Blocks – Building & Construction Material in Hosakote
We've been here on National Highway 203 for a while now, running our block business in Kammavari Pete. The dust gets everywhere, but that's just how it is when you're making solid blocks in this kind of area. It’s a busy spot. People often stop by just to see what we have stacked up in the yard. We keep a few guys busy all day loading the trucks that pull in. The machines are pretty loud, especially in the early mornings when we start the first mix. Sometimes the weather slows us down if the rain gets too heavy on the highway side. We just try to keep things moving. It isn't a fancy setup by any means, just some sheds and the open casting area. You can see the grey stacks from the road as you drive toward the town center. Most of our days are spent checking the mix and making sure the curing water is running right over the new blocks. It's a lot of heavy lifting. The sun gets really hot out here in the open, but the blocks actually need that heat to set properly. We don't have a big office or anything special, just a small desk in the corner where we keep the logs. Most of the time, we are outside. We've seen a lot of changes around Kammavari Pete over the years, mostly just more traffic. We just focus on getting the stacks ready. No one here wears a suit, just boots and old work clothes. We're usually covered in a bit of cement dust by noon.
