Sri Kongadiyappa College

Sri Kongadiyappa College is right on the Main Road in Doddaballapur. If you know the Bangalore area, you know how busy these roads can get. We are located in the 561203 postal zone, and it is a very easy place to find because we have been here for such a long time. The college has a lot of history in this town. We see thousands of students coming through our gates every year. Some take the bus from the city and others walk from the nearby streets. The noise from the traffic outside is just something we have all gotten used to by now. Inside the walls, it is a bit quieter, but not by much when the classes change over. We have old benches and big windows that let in the morning light. The staff rooms are usually full of papers and tea cups. We do not have all the shiny new things that the big fancy colleges in the middle of Bangalore have, but our buildings are solid. The local people know us well, and many of the parents were students here themselves years ago. It is a bit of a maze once you get inside, with different wings for different subjects. We keep the gates shut during the main hours so things stay orderly. It is just a standard college life where we try to keep the fans running and the chalkboards clean for the next day.
