Our place is out at One Sonarome Way, located in the KIADB Industrial Area of Doddaballapur. It is quite a distance from the center of Bangalore, so it is a bit of a commute for many of us, but it is a good spot for a factory. We are Sonarome, and we have been here for a long time working with flavors and fragrances. The building is designed for manufacturing, so it has high ceilings and lots of industrial equipment. It is not a place for fancy meetings. We spend our time in the lab or on the production floor, blending different ingredients to get the right scents and tastes for our customers. There is a lot of testing involved, and sometimes we have to try many times before a batch is exactly right. It can be a bit messy with all the liquids and powders, but we try to keep things as clean as possible. We have a lot of local workers who have been with us for years, and they know the machines inside out. We do not have a big, shiny lobby. If you come by, you will see a working factory with people moving crates and checking valves. We just focus on the quality of what we make and try to get it out the door on time. It is a practical, no-nonsense way of doing business in the industrial belt.
