Shree Eye Hospital

We are situated right near the Sai Baba Temple at Rangappa Circle in Dodballapura. It is a landmark that almost everyone in this town knows very well. The hospital handles all sorts of eye problems, from very basic vision tests to more serious things that require a lot more specialized care. We have several rooms set up for different types of exams. It can get pretty loud outside because of the temple traffic and the noise from the circle, but inside we try to keep things calm for our patients. Many people just walk in after they finish work or while they are on their way to the market. We see a lot of farmers and local workers whose eyes get irritated from all the dust and the bright sun. We have the necessary equipment to check for things like glaucoma or to see if someone just needs a slightly stronger lens. The staff is all local, so we usually end up chatting about what is happening in town while we work. We do not have a huge, fancy lobby, just enough chairs for whoever comes in that day. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit and we have to wait for the backup to kick in, but that is just how things go around here. We make sure to clean every machine between patients. It is a busy place but we try to keep people moving along so they can get back to their day.
