If you walk down KR Road in Kammavari Pete, you’ll find us at number 277. We do a lot of different creative work here, mostly stuff that people need for their homes or small businesses. It’s a bit of a cluttered space, but that’s because there is always a project halfway done on the table. We don't have a big shiny showroom. Instead, we have scraps of material and a few sewing machines or tools depending on what we are making that week. The neighborhood is pretty lively, so there is always someone popping in for a chat or to ask if we can fix something they bought elsewhere. We just like making things. It started as a hobby for some of us and then it turned into this shop. The light in the morning is great for working, but by the evening we are usually relying on the old overhead lamps. It’s not a fancy life, but we get to use our hands every day. Sometimes we make mistakes and have to start over, but that’s just part of the process. Kammavari Pete has a lot of history and we feel like we fit right in with the other small shops on the street. We just keep our heads down, do the work, and try to make sure everything we finish looks decent enough to go out the door.
