R.L.Jalappa Institute Of Technology. is situated out in Kodigehally, near Dodda. It is a bit of a trek for some, but it’s a quiet place for students to focus on their technical studies. We have a lot of young people here who are trying to learn engineering and technology. The campus is quite spread out, and you will often see students walking between the different labs and lecture halls. It isn't a perfect, shiny place; the gardens need more work and the paint is peeling in some corners, but the equipment in the labs is what matters most. We spend a lot of time on practical work because that is what helps them find jobs later. The staff here are mostly focused on their subjects and do not really bother with the corporate side of things. We have a canteen where everyone gathers, and that is usually the heart of the place. Life at an institute like this is mostly about lectures, lab reports, and preparing for the next semester of exams. It is a busy environment with a lot of pressure on the students, so we try to keep things grounded. We are just a local tech college trying to help the youth in this part of the region get some skills. It is a lot of daily grind, but it feels worthwhile when the graduation ceremony finally rolls around.
