Divakar Engineering Works

Divakar Engineering Works is situated in the Kssidc Industrial Estate in Doddaballapur. We are at unit number 43. It is a proper industrial area, so it is noisy and there is always the smell of hot metal and grease in the air. We do a lot of engineering work here, mostly stuff involving machines and metal parts for other companies. Our workshop is not a showroom; it is a place where things get made by hand. We have lathes and welding equipment that have seen a lot of use over the years. Some of the machines are older than we are, but they still run just fine if you know how to treat them. We spend our days in overalls, getting our hands dirty and making sure the orders are ready on time. It is hard work, and the summer heat in the shed can be quite something to deal with. We do not have a big office staff, just a few of us who know how to handle the tools. Most of our customers are other businesses in the estate or nearby. We like the straightforward nature of the work. You get a drawing, you cut the metal, and you move on to the next one. It is not fancy, but it is honest work that needs to be done. Sometimes we just sit outside the gate for a break when the noise inside gets to be a bit much. It is just how things go.
