We are located out at Survey No. 21-32, right near the railway station in the KIADB Apparel Park area of Doddaballapura. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here if you aren't used to it. The trains go by pretty often, and you can hear the whistle throughout the day while we're working. It’s a large space because we handle a lot of volume. Being in the Apparel Park means there are factories and warehouses all around us. It’s dusty and busy. Most of us get here early before the sun gets too hot. The floors are concrete and the ceilings are high. We deal with rayon mostly, and there are rolls of it everywhere you look. It’s not a quiet office; there’s always the sound of machines or people moving crates. We eat our lunch together in the break area near the back. The sun beats down on the metal roof, so it gets warm in the afternoons. Sometimes the power goes out for a minute and then the generators kick in with a loud hum. We’ve been at this location for a good while now. The road leading up to the station is usually full of trucks waiting to load up. It’s a practical place, built for work, not for showing off. We just keep the production moving and make sure the shipments are ready for the trucks when they arrive at the gate.
