This part of our operation is at No. 21-32 in the K.I.A.D.B. Apparel Park. It’s a big industrial zone, so don't expect any fancy parks or cafes nearby. We share the space with a lot of other garment businesses. You can see the smoke and steam from various units as you drive in. Our building is a solid structure that has seen a lot of years. Inside, it's all about the fabric. There are rows and rows of tables where we sort things out. The staff knows exactly where everything is, even if it looks like a mess to an outsider. We have large windows, but they mostly look out onto other grey buildings. It's a lot of manual work here. We spend our hours checking the weave and the dye. The air smells a bit like chemicals and starch, which is normal for this kind of place. We don't have a big sign out front, just the address. Most people who come here are drivers or suppliers who know the route by heart. The water cooler is the main meeting spot during breaks. It’s a very straightforward environment. We focus on the textile side of things and try to stay on schedule. The floor is always covered in tiny bits of thread and scrap material by the end of the shift. Someone sweeps it up every evening so we can start over the next morning.
