Green Autocage

Our workshop is out here in Mallick Para, right near the Delhi Road in Hoogly. It can get dusty being so close to the main road, but it's a good spot for what we do. We work on different types of cages and metal parts for vehicles. It's a lot of welding and cutting most days. The noise is something you get used to after a while. We have a few guys who have been here since the beginning. We don't really do much advertising because people usually just find us by word of mouth or see the shop when they drive past Rajyadharpur. The equipment is older but it still works fine for the jobs we take on. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that's just part of working here. We keep the floor as clean as we can, though there's always a bit of metal scrap lying around by the end of the shift. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in the district. We just want to get the work done right so it holds up on the road. It gets really hot under the roof in the summer, so we drink a lot of tea and keep the fans going. If you come by, you'll probably see us covered in some grease or dust. It's just honest work. We have been in this same spot for a long time now and we know the neighbors well.
